This morning you will be transferred to the delightful small fishing town of Paraty, on the Costa Verde or 'Green Coast' set against a backdrop of lush Mata Atlântica forest and surrounded by secluded beaches. Paraty was the main port for the shipment of gold from Minas Gerais to Portugal during the 18th century. It has a pedestrianised historic centre with cobbled streets lined with impressive, well-preserved colonial architecture Stay for four nights at a mid-range restored colonial property. This evening you might choose to take a stroll along the photogenic pedestrianised cobbled streets, full of arty gift shops, boutiques, restaurants and a lovely vibrant ambiance.

Amongst the islands typically visited are Comprida, Algodão, Cotia and Praia Vermelha.
