How it works
The Classic Peru Collection is a special collection of seven ready-made travel designs that can be put together to make a perfect trip.
You are sure to want to see the Incan wonders of Cusco and Machu Picchu of course, and the lovely Sacred Valley too. They are a must. So they are included at the start of every trip.
For the classic Peru experience you really couldn't miss seeing Lake Titicaca. So the Collection includes 3 ways to include a trip there. Either with a visit across the border to La Paz in Bolivia, or over the altiplano to the Colca Canyon and Arequipa, or to the Pacific coast with a trip to see the Nazca Lines from the air.
If nature and wildlife are your thing, then your heart will surely be set on a trip into the Amazon. So the collection also includes two options for the Amazon: in the south in the Madre de Dios, or the north from Iquitos.
There's another option too. If relatively undiscovered northern Peru has caught your imagination (perhaps from Jago Cooper's 'Lost Kingdoms' BBC documentaries) we've included a trip there too.
It all works together seamlessly. You fly into Lima, overnight and onwards to Cusco. After your time with the Incas, you travel direct to the next region you picked - and so on. At the end of your trip you return to Lima for your flight home.
Choose your flavour
Each section comes in a choice of flavours of accommodation and local travel.
For accommodation you might choose comfortable mid-range hotels, rather special hotels in the upper range, or fabulous top range hotels where available.
There are some very keenly-priced options if you like to travel with other people along the way. Add a little more to your budget and you can enjoy your own private local travel and guides.
Why this is such a good idea
The advantage comes because we have designed each part already, and sorted everything out with our local partners in advance. You see Peru in the way you like - and get the benefit of some very keen prices too.
