Yacht charters

Cruise aboard a chartered yacht sailing among the outlying coral islands of the Los Roques archipelago - uninhabited specks of soft white sand set amid calm clear azure water. 

A captain and crew member take care of the nautical practicalities and the cooking, leaving you free to relax. For most of the year the trade winds here are little more than a smooth breeze which will carry you from one deserted anchorage to the next for swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling and fabulous sunsets.

Guests take a 30-minute flight from Caracas to Los Roques to board their sailboat in Gran Roque, the only inhabited island in the archipelago. The yachts are usually chartered a week at a time, though in the low season shorter stays of a minimum of 5 days can be arranged. During a two or three week private charter it is possible to cruise not only Los Roques but also some of the other islands in the region, such as Las Aves, La Tortuga, La Blanquilla and Los Testigos.

Whole boat charters

You can privately charter a whole boat for yourself, your family and friends, or you can share with strangers simply booking as many berths on the yacht as you require.

Shared boat

Sharing a boat with strangers is an excellent economic option, particularly if you have previous experience of communal living on board a sailing boat and appreciate how confined conditions are both above and below deck and how basic bathroom facilities on yachts tend to be. This is not a sensible option if you prefer privacy and personal space.
