Venezuela | Independent holidays | Active & adventure | Diving | Land-based Los Roques dive packages

These dive packages are the most flexible way to dive Los Roques.  You stay in a posada in the village of Gran Roque, and go to the dive sites around the Los Roques archipelago by small boat each day.

7 nights for 6 days diving (2 immersions per day) Divers must hold a PADI or NAUI dive certificate

Day 1  Met at Caracas airport, driven to your 3* hotel in the city. Take advantage of the time difference for an early night, ready for an early start next day (4am local time, 8-9am GMT) so no diving time is lost.

Day 2  Transferred back to the airport for the early flight to Gran Roque on Los Roques (operates every day except Sun). On arrival you will be helped transfer, on foot, the 200-300 yards from the landing strip to either a ‘standard’ or ‘superior’ category guesthouse, where you will be based on a bed and American breakfast basis for 6 nights. All rooms have private bathrooms. There’s just time to settle in and sort out your kit before heading out on a dive boat to sites around the Los Roques archipelago. Divers make two immersions each day, with occasional night dives—conditions permitting.

Days 3-7  Five more days of diving, travelling out each morning to dive sites around the Los Roques archipelago.

Day 8  Relax on Los Roques. Late afternoon flight from Los Roques to Caracas in time for late evening international flights.
